It wasn't until Jones adopted the Afrikaans working-class persona, Ninja, that he hit pay dirt. All of his previous rap projects, none particularly successful and all in English language, included Original Evergreen, Max Normal, Max Normal.TV and Constructus Corporation. In truth, however, Jones is neither working-class nor Afrikaans-speaking. Interestingly, they link zef – which apparently just used to mean "common" or "kitsch", but now means "cool" – to 1980s white, working-class culture. They market themselves as leaders of zef counter-culture, a supposedly Afrikaans working-class movement. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.Die Antwoord are Ninja (Waddy Jones), Yo-Landi Vi$$er (Anri du Toit) and DJ Hi-Tek, who has been played by different people in their videos. Is this the same creature we saw before, or is it just another of its species? Does this take place before or after the first video? There are so many other questions as well. I have no idea why they have the video on their channel other than the connection that Blomkamp is also from South Africa. Ninja could be the one holding the camera.

The video is hosted on the channel for the popular South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord, so I’m suspecting that the women we see is Yo-Landi Vi$$er from the group. The guy holding the camera has some kind of accent, and that bleached-hair woman has a creepy stare.

The creature looks to be exactly the same as the one in first video, but other than that, it’s hard to figure out what is going on here.

However, reader Jeremey (who joined us in our latest ViralCast) clued us in to one more that we missed from back in February titled “IS IT DEAD?”. So far we had only found two videos that are definitely part of the project, along with one that has a slight chance of being connected. We’ve been following Neill Blomkamp’s pet viral project AGM Heartland since the first video came to light in 2010.
